For shipments to Algeria, it is important that all documentation is available and correct before shipment.
It is not so easy to get a manifest correction in Algeria, as Algerian Customs see changes as potential fraud attempts. Not only will it take 4 weeks or even longer, Customs also issues fines for example after changing the name of the importer.
Algeria is a ‘no docs/no load’ destination which means the commercial invoice, packinglist and B/L instructions need to be in our possession before cut off date. An accurate description of the cargo such as number of pieces, gross weight and the correct name of the final importer is required.
